Day 1
Día 14/09/2024 (Saturday) I started the day with a super simple breakfast (orange juice, Colacao and two pieces of buttered toast). Later, Sarah and I met up with the Erasmus group at the high school and went by bus to visit Limerick, where we saw a Supermarket (Milmarket), the bridge where Sannon (the longest river in Ireland) passes underneath. We then moved on to visit the statue of Daniel O'Connell (also known as The Liberator, who was one of the most important people in Ireland). Later we visited a cathedral (St Mary Cathedral) which is situated in a cemetery and last of the day's sightseeing we visited a castle (Kingjonascastle). My partner's mother was waiting for us at wilmallocu church (Cathedral closest to the house). Today was Soppy's (Sarah's sister) birthday. That afternoon I was with Sarah's family celebrating Sarah's sister's eighteenth birthday.
